This service is provided by a therapist with 100 additional hours of training in orthopedic massage. The training allows the therapist to understand common orthopedic issues and how and what massage techniques may help. This massage typically focuses on tension and restriction around specific joints either directly resulting or as a secondary result of chronic pain, injury or disease. We typically see folks dealing with shoulder impingement, piriformis syndrome, patelo-femoral syndrome, IT band syndrome, plantar fasciatis, and have experience with those managing ehlers danlos syndrome, muscular dystrophy, dystonias, cerebral palsy, ms and other neuromuscular disorders affecting your joints.
